We want to see people know Christ and grow in Christ. Discipleship is when a follower of Jesus learns how the gospel of Jesus applies to every area of life. Discipleship can happen here in a variety of ways and in numerous contexts.

  1. First, the preaching ministry at EnidMB is crucial to the discipleship of our whole congregation. Sitting under the Word of God preached is something we do together and regularly. Our pulpit teaching primarily consists of the verse by verse teaching of Scripture.
  2. Second, our lives in community are the primary application of gospel informed teaching at EMB and the best way to get involved. See below for ways that you can be inolved in being discipled and discipling others.
  3. Third, check out a Life Group where you can gather with other EMB attenders.

Discipleship Opportunities

We also recognize that the different life stages of people at EMB provide for different discipleship opportunities. We want to see our children discipled through Scripture memory and gospel teaching. We want to see our students discipled through intentional relationships, theological training and biblical truth.

We want to see our adults discpled through regular Bible reading, discipleship classes and Life Groups.

Much of this can take place in unique ways in all of life but these are just some of the ways we like to be intentional about our corporate gathering together on Sundays and Wednesdays.

    New Horizons

    Meets Once a month October-April

Our more mature adults love getting together once a month for a meal and some special entertainment. This is a great place to invite an older friend or neighbor into community. New Horizons meets the third Thursday of each month. Details are always found in our worship bulletin.

  • One-on-One Bible Reading

Reading and meditation on God's Word is critical for growing in faith and love. And one of the best discipleship tools we have is reading the Bible with other people. So find a friend in your neighborhood, at your workplace, or a new face at EMB and be in the Word together.
